Since 2022, we have been restoring this house to welcome you and offer a peaceful experience right in the centre of Poligny. We love sharing our favourite Jura activities with our guests.

The Jura
Poligny is a lively small town at the entrance of the Vaux-sur-Poligny valley, surrounded by the vineyards of the Jura. It is known as the capital of Comté cheese. We have selected local winemakers — often organic or natural — whose wines will delight your palate.
From Poligny you are 10 min by car from Arbois, 20 min from Château-Chalon and Salins-les-Bains, 30 min from Lons-le-Saunier, 15 min from the A39 motorway, 4 h from Paris, 1 h from Besançon or Dijon, 2 h from Geneva and Lyon.
Hérisson waterfalls, the Royal Saltworks of Arc-et-Senans, tuff waterfalls, Fort de Joux, Arbois and Château-Chalon: plenty of activities less than an hour away (hiking, swimming, mountain biking, trail running, skiing in winter).

We are a young couple in our thirties, in love with the Jura, its heritage and adventure! Fun fact: our favourite Jura hobbies.
Diane: monthly wine-tasting classes with Domaine Morel (and the local Jura cocktail: crémant + macvin + griottines). In winter, a book by the fireplace with a slice of Comté; in summer, walks, swimming and boat trips.
Melchior: climbing, especially summer evenings at the Trou de la Lune cliff above Poligny. And local wine tastings at Le Barzing, two minutes from the house.
